Software publishers produce a variety of graphics software packages that differ based on the type of graphics supported and the tools they provide to manipulate graphics.  Use current computer magazines to research graphics software packages.  Write a paper describing three of the software packages.  Indicate the key features, the graphics formats supported, and the price of each package.  Finally, explain which package you would purchase and why.

MP3 is a compression technique that shrinks sound files with little discernable loss in quality. With MP3 it became possible to post high-quality music files to the Web, where they can be quickly downloaded by music enthusiasts. To learn more about MP3, visit a Web site that supplies MP3 music and the software that you need to download and play the files. Download the files necessary to play MP3 music, then download and play a sample song. To complete the project, write an article for your school newspaper that provides students with all the information they need about MP3. Make sure that you include a list of several MP3 Web sites, details on downloading and using the software necessary to play MP3 files, and information on the legal aspects of using and distributing MP3 music.
